How to Memorize Your Walla Walla Wine & RAIL TOUR from Portland

 Day 1: Portland, OR to Tri-Cities, WA

Check in with your InquisiTours Tour Director at Union Station (3:30 pm) and board the Empire Builder. This classic rail tours takes you through the scenic Columbia River Gorge in the shadow of volcanoes, past waterfalls into the heart of Washington wine country. While on board, you will enjoy dinner and getting to know your fellow travelers. After a late-night arrival into Pasco WA, you will be taken to a nearby hotel for a restful night sleep. Overnight.
 
Day 2: Walla Walla, WA
  
Enjoy a morning walk along the mighty Columbia River before following the Oregon Trail to the Ft. Walla Walla Museum where we will learn about the lifestyles, traditions, and crafts of the region's residents. With over 100 wineries in the Valley, we’ll find one that pairs nicely with lunch. Before heading into town we’ll tour the historic neighborhoods before checking into our hotel for the night. The evening is yours to explore the many fine dining options in town.
 Day 3: Walla Walla

This morning we will get in touch with Walla Walla’s creative side enjoying walking art and history. The rest of the day is yours to do what you please. You can choose from an optional excursion or may decide to spend your day exploring, shopping, or visiting the numerous tasting rooms or art galleries in town. Whatever you decide to do, you will want to be back in time for a special dinner.

Day 4: Walla Walla, WA to Portland, OR

After a leisurely morning, we will meander country roads and farmlands before heading to Pendleton Oregon, home of the world-famous Round-Up and Woolen Mill. From there, we will make our way back to Portland along the scenic Columbia River Gorge with a few stops before taking you back to Union Station around 5 pm.
